So, I am working on trying to build a CSS file or collection of files that could be used as a base for themes. Either website or computer environment.

I live in Linux, so you having your look at feel locked by Microsoft or Apple is a you problem.

For anyone interested it is currently hosted on Codeberg at https://codeberg.org/evamade-online/magi-css

    Still working.

im always happy to see people abandon microsoft, but most of your "linux" distros are on microsoft github. good on you for using codeberg. id like to see for starters some programming languages and libraries and window managers move from github. i use a fork of dwm.

I prefer to use Enlightenment for my Desktop. But if I have to use one of the big ones I go KDE.

I am keeping my projects on Codeberg, but I still have the github account if only so I can pull from there using SSH.

Working with CSS first so I can figure out colors, fonts, and maybe see about simple CSS styling for shapes. Never know.

Pretty sure Windows and MacOS have stripped out most stylization by default. Color schemes I think are the extent to what you could do.

@cwsmith i stopped using windows in 2007, in the past 17 years ive probably spent a total of 12 hours using it. you used to be able to load different shells and there were a few alternative window managers. im not sure whether thats still possible or not, it was definitely possible for windows 8.

I honestly was using Linux from 2003 on except when 10 came out and I thought they were doing something interesting with the integration between Desktop, Mobile, and Xbox.

            ... That all died quickly
